If this novel ever gets a title page, this is the chapter I’ll tell the artist to read. It’s a fun chapter (if I do say so myself) and there’s a moment that, frozen in time, would, I think, show you that this is a book you’d want to read. (or not read, if it’s not your thing). If I could draw, I would have roughed out this image.
In fact, I did, a while ago. Here it is. (Please don’t be confused by “Trajan”. It’s an earlier name I’d given the dragon, but ultimately decided against.)
Like I say, I can’t draw. Not really. Anyway, I suppose this drawing is a bit of a spoiler but, again, I think it might make a good cover image, so it’s the sort of spoiling that most novels have.
